Forma Deck is produced using exterior birch plywood as its foundation, which is then coated with a high-density paper film saturated with phenol-formaldehyde resin. The edges are sealed with acrylic paint for added protection. It exhibits a wear resistance of 400-450 rounds according to the Taber test. Forma Deck presents significant improvements over standard film-faced plywood. It features double the water-resistance capacity, eliminating the risk of staining the concrete surface, and boasts only half the level of formaldehyde emissions. While Forma Film can be reused over 50 times, Forma Deck takes it a step further with the ability to be reused in up to 90 cycles, making it an ideal choice for monolithic housing construction. Forma Deck is primarily used in the construction industry, where it contributes to achieving a more aesthetically pleasing 'architectural' finish on the concrete surface after casting.
